Aims and scopeThe Near East University Social Sciences Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing scholarly research and critical inquiry across a range of disciplines. The Journal publishes twice a year in April and October and
exclusively welcomes scholarly contributions in the fields of society, politics and governance. Thus, the Journal provides a global platform for original research that brings novel perspectives and intellectual input to the theoretical, empirical, and methodological understanding of contemporary issues. The Journal also welcomes
review articles that aim to revisit or re-assess the existing literature in the above-mentioned particular fields of study.The NEU Social Sciences Journal is a bilingual journal publishing articles in both Turkish and English, reflecting its fundamental goal of amplifying both Turkish and
international scholarship.The Journal seeks to bring together diverse disciplinary perspectives and encourages scientific and critical research that examines the complex interactions among political, socio-economic, and institutional and administrative processes at local, regional and international levels. The Journal is globally oriented and geographically inclusive in aim and scope; it is not confined to any particular region or geographical area. The Journal is primarily open to works
that postulate and explore the contemporary affairs. The articles address historical, institutional and socio-political contexts. In this vein, the Social Sciences Journal aims
to contribute to a deeper understanding of continuity, change and/ or the interplay of both of those processes.
Thus, the NEU Social Sciences Journal publishes both research and review articles and primarily welcomes theoretically-engaged and also empirical studies that make a
substantive contribution to their respective fields of study. In line with its scope, we aim to foster scholarly dialogue and promote a nuanced understanding of complex political and socio-economic dynamics shaping the contemporary world.
The publication history of the NEU Social Sciences Journal dates back to 2008. It is an open-access journal which will also be published by Near East University through DergiPark from 2027 omwards, under the umbrella of TÜBİTAK/ ULAKBİM, which provides hosting and editorial services for academic journals published in Türkiye. Each article goes through an editorial initial screening. Those articles within the scope of the journal goes through the double-blind referee process before publication.There are no submission fees and publication charges, making the Near East University Social Sciences Journal accessible to a wide range of researchers, scholars and students worldwide.

Near East University Journal of Scientific Mysticism and Literature
The Journal of Mysticism and Literature is an international scholarly journal. As its name suggests, it publishes only articles on literature, mysticism, philosophy, literary history, and the Turkish language. This Journal is indexed in Google Scholar, CrossRef, Research Gate, Academia.edu, and Dergipark.
