About the Journal

Art Alasia journal (Sanat Alasia) is an international, refereed, academic journal published electronically once a year (November), and also, once a year as a ‘special issue’.

The language of the journal is Turkish or English.

AIMS AND SCOPE

The aim of Art Alasia journal is to publish original articles that present scientific research covering topics from the first examples of visual arts to the present examples,  today's situation in art and future of art.

Art Alasia journal includes research articles that will make new and original contributions to the field of visual arts related to graphic design, painting, printmaking, sculpture, ceramics, theoretical infrastructure, museums and education of these fields.

Art Alasia also includes original interdisciplinary articles written in the perspective of the visual arts discipline with data obtained from fields related to visual arts such as archaeology, architecture, interior architecture, decoration and environmental design.

In interdisciplinary research, articles that are outside the field of visual arts and contain technical information related to the fields accepted as articles are excluded.

Non-original articles and review articles are excluded.

Translations, book introductions, exhibition introductions, interviews and news articles are excluded.

COSTS

All costs of the journal are covered by Near East University.

No processing fee or submission fee is charged for articles submitted to the journal for evaluation or accepted for publication.
