Thus, in addition to the structural features of the settlements, and more importantly, the dynamics that create these structural features have been tried to be understood/presented. In addition, it has been searched that the concept of traditional architecture has been examined in relation to which concepts in the literature, and these concepts and the characteristics of the settlements have been evaluated together. As a result, within the scope of the article, both traditional architectural knowledge (features of Beypazarı, Cumalıkızık, and Mardin settlements) was revealed, and the relationship between this information and current issues was discussed in architectural education. This way, the importance of traditional architectural knowledge was emphasized, and its necessity in the education of future architects was clearly stated.
