Migration is one of the oldest actions in human history. For centuries, people have migrated for reasons such as security, better economic, social, cultural, and educational opportunities. Cyprus, due to its geopolitical position, has received migration over the years. In the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, migration has particularly continued to increase after the development of construction and tourism activities. The phenomenon of migration brings with it many problems. Especially, not knowing the language of the migrated country poses a significant problem in communication, and the cultural differences between the host country and one's own country also create adaptation issues. This language and adaptation problem becomes visibly significant, especially in the children of immigrant families attending school. Students who cannot communicate with their peers, do not know the culture, customs, and traditions of the country they have come to, and are ostracized by their peers, experience both psychological and academic problems. The purpose of this study is to determine the place of migration, a global phenomenon, in education, particularly in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and to reveal the problems experienced by immigrant students studying in the TRNC
