Abstract

This study focuses on how organizational commitment is affected on the basis of demographic characteristics in a company engaged in telemarketing operations. The application phase of the research includes employees of the firm operating in the field of telemarketing in the provinces of Istanbul, Izmir, Konya, Ankara and Samsun. In the research, an online questionnaire was opened to 721 employees, and 688 responses were received. In the analysis phase of the study, the results regarding hypothesis propositions were obtained by using the SPSS 22 program. According to the results; while there were no differences between organizational commitment and gender, marital status variables; differences were found between the variables of age, education level and working time. Based on the research findings, suggestions were made to industry professionals and for future studies.
