The act of exhibiting, which dates back to the 3rd century BC, emerged with the desire of people to hide, collect and show their belongings to others. This desire has changed from past to present and has become a discipline called exhibition design. While exhibition was a concept that conveyed information through an object in the beginning, various interactive technologies that allow direct communication with the visitor have begun to be used today. In the study, after examining the development process of exhibition design, it is aimed to reveal the contribution of this use to the visitor experience through the analysis of the relationship between the interactive technologies used as exhibition methods today and the exhibition interiors. In this direction, the research is based on two basic approaches: literature review and case study. In the first part, the developmental stages of “exhibition design” from ancient times to the present are conveyed through tables with visuals containing important examples from each period. In the second part, in order to question the effects of the use of interactive technologies on the visitor experience during the exhibition design process, analysis and evaluations were made by creating graphical expressions on the exhibition interior images of the New International Spy Museum, which were selected as samples. At the end of the research, design proposals were developed to determine the importance of interactive design methods and to create predictions about how the exhibition could be shaped in the light of technological developments in the coming years.
