Increasing competition environment all over the world, especially in the construction sector, has increased the importance of project management day by day and has caused it to become widespread in many areas. Running projects, known as complex organisations, takes a lot of effort. In order to successfully conclude these projects, the concept of project manager, which makes project management a profession, has emerged. The value given to project management in the world can be understood by looking at the development of countries in the sector. While project management has progressed rapidly as a profession and education throughout the world in recent years, the adequacy of training in project management and management in our country is an issue that needs to be discussed. The aim of this study is to raise awareness for project management to contribute more to the sector in Turkey, and to emphasize the importance of training project managers who are considered to be inadequate and are thought to be due to education in Turkey. In this context, all universities in Turkey that offer undergraduate and graduate degrees in Architecture were examined, and the existence and scope of project management education in the relevant programs were analyzed. In this period when the discipline of project management and project manager is so important in the world, it is thought that revealing the educational situation especially within the scope of architectural education and developing suggestions on this subject will contribute to the literature.
